Punkin Pickin
Yesterday we took a trip to the pumpkin patch to choose our future jack-o-lantern. Eli wants a plane carved on his and Ava wants a fairy...should be interesting.
Eli slept through the cornfield maze...I thought it was kinda boring too. At one point, a monster jumped out at us. Ava did not like the monster. She bolted to the exit like her tail was on fire screaming, "I don't like monsters!".
Here is my little farm girl, cheesin for the camera after we had narrowly escaped the monster!
Eric, who can't stand for his children to be afraid of anything, took Ava back into the corn on a "Monster Hunt". Here she is trying to quietly sneak up on that monster to scare him!
Somehow, I don't think Eli quite has the hang of this...
And here I am, taking a picture as my son plays with medications on the stove. 10 points to you if you can spot the knife in the background. I need to go fill out my mother of the year application now- cheers!

yea, we let ours swig the dimetapp, too after a long day. :-)
What precious "punkins". And yes, they do have wonderful punkin parents.
Looks like a very fun filled day!!! How did the pumpkin carving go??? Does it remotely resemble an airplane and a fairy? We've had our pumpkins for some time now and still have not carved them...we're just waiting for that perfect moment...like when mom finds the motivation. Know where I can find some? Love the self medication Eli has goin on...did he cure his ailment? Hope all is well.
