Who Murdered the Leggo Man?

A few days ago, Ness realized one of her goals when coming to England. For those who do not know, she has a slight appreciation for the works of Agatha Christie. (Interpretation = we have almost two whole shelves of Agatha Christie novels) Well, thanks to the niceness of some good friends (thanks Kate/Kenny), we got the opportunity to go to London and see The Mousetrap - a play based on Agatha Christie's novels that has been running continuously for over 50 years. And so we now know that the murderer in the play is ... oh that's right. I could tell you but then I'd have to kill you. But in all seriousness, it was delightful to see a non-stop smile on the face of the girl who has had to be so serious all the time lately.

We are also going tomorrow for a quick 2 day trip to see Windsor Castle and play at Leggo Land. I imagine that Ava and Eli will thoroughly enjoy themselves - even though it is supposed to rain the whole time. And it would be nice to think the kids will tire themselves out a little, but I'm beginning to suspect they have a higher energy level than I do. Here is yet another conversation with the ever-enlightening Ava:

Ava: I'm not going to sleep much tonight.
Ness: Why not?
Ava: I don't like to sleep much.
Eric: Why not?
Ava: It's not how God made me.

A more truthful statement has never been said. Slightly upsetting ... but true.

You're welcome, we're happy to watch Ava and Eli anytime! Enjoy your trip to Lego Land and Windsor, maybe you'll get lucky and it won't rain! :)

I could just imagine the look on Ness' face watching the play... very cool you got to see that in London. Have fun at Legoland- and of course Windsor Castle. It's a beautiful, magical place- even in the rain. We love you all! -Mimi

I'm so glad Jennessa got to see that play. Thanks Eric (and Kate and Kenny).

And I find Ava's words about how God made her, so precious. She's such a perfect...Ava.
