So- yet another contest. I would like a caption to the following picture. There is a catch...the caption has to be a "play" on a Christmas song. I have added a few examples for your viewing pleasure. BTW- the little boy (besides Eli) is Logan- our favorite kid to borrow! They were sharing Eli's milk so very nicely. (In case anyone is keeping track- Eli is fully potty trained-Pants Wearer First Class- yeah!) Soooo, back to the contest...a box of Ely's best chocolates to the winner!

"What child is this, who drinks my milk and on my chair is sitting? Whom Mommy brings to play with me and with my things I’m sharing? This, this is Lo-o-gan, whom with I play hard and Ah-va clings. Haste, haste to bring him here, the babe Mom loves to borrow."

Oh there's milk... Are you listenin'? I'm so glad my eyes are glistenin', We'll drink and we'll share, while Eli wears new umderwear, We're two blokes hav'in a pint in Englandland! Papaw
I got nothin'. I've been stewing over it for twenty-four hours now. Here's the best I can do: "The Here's-Some-Moo-Yah Chorus."
Udderly terrible, I know.
(To the tune of "Frosty the Snowman.")
Eli the milk man was a jolly happy soul with his camo pants and his sippy cup in his buddy's gripping hold.
Eli the milk man was a stingy boy they say, but today he knows that a little milk goes farther than they say.
There must have been some magic in that yellow cup he found- when Mommy placed it in his hand they began to fuss around.
Sippity sip sip sippity sip sip look at Logan go, sippity sip sip sippity sip sip it's fun to share, you know!
Love, Emily and Tyler (Em's boyfriend.) =]
Wow, you've gotten some great responses! Thanks again for watching the kids. It always brings a huge smile to my face to see Logan getting along with your little ones. :)
(to the tune of Sleigh Bells)
Baba pleez, are you listenin'?
Mama pleez, Lo's not listenin'!
I told him to share,
now he wants my underwear,
It's gonna be a long fussy night...

Belatedly, after the challenge:
Christmas song caption: "While Eli watched his milk go bye" (While Shepherds watched their flocks by night).
But the words to a Christmas song (about this picture) could read as follows: (tune of Do you See What I see?)
Said the little Eli to his Mom nearby,
"Do you see what I see?" (echo),
"Sippy noises followed by a sigh",
"Do you hear what I hear?" (echo),
"My cup,
tipped up,
leaning to one side,
May it fill my friend from ear to ear,
And might he please save a little for my good cheer?" ...:)
