Oh Those Imaginations!

I know ... I know, Ness and I are so busted for not posting lately. But everything is moving along. And for some updates. Winter is officially kicking our butts. I met my neighbor because he got my car out of ditches ... twice! In one day! I am seriously considering talking to Ness about moving to Jacksonville :) And the kids are great. Ava is really excelling in 1st Grade and Eli is beginning to read words. And so ...
Eli very well might be the engineer in the family after constructing an entire airport including shuttles and parking spaces. And I think he might actually be getting the whole "smile for the camera" thing too!
With all the snow lately Ava has been in outdoor heaven! And unlike most kids, Ava doesn't make snow forts or snowmen. Oh no ... Queen Ava made an Empress Couch suitable for Cleopatra ... with a slide to get down!
Here's Eli building the earlier mentioned airport in its beginning stages. While Ava and I were outside trying (unsuccessfully albeit) to gain enough speed on the sledding path to crash into the bushes, Eli spent HOURS constructing the blueprint. Grandpa would be proud.

And here is a video of Ava going down a slide. To Eli's credit, he did go down a handful of times and once even flipped and landed on his head ... only to get up with a smile and head back up the hill! Way to go Little Man!!!!!!
